Cancer Research Wales is thrilled to announce we are holding our second sustainable fashion design competition, running from February 1 – March 31 2025.

The challenge

We’re challenging you to design a fashion couture outfit using exclusively pre-loved clothing and materials.

With the design theme ‘Stripe a Pose’, we want you to breathe new life into old garments in an ethical and sustainable manner.

The winning designs will be showcased at our Cancer Research Wales Sustainable Fashion event in 2025 and across our social media channels.

This competition is available to enter for students aged 16+ in full/part time education within Wales, and anyone aged 16+ living/working in Wales.

Criteria for winning designs

We're on the lookout for creative and impactful designs that incorporate stripes.

Registration is free, but if you'd like to support the Cancer Research Wales charity fund then your donation would be greatly appreciated.
