Free Will writing services
Making a Will is the only way to ensure your wishes will be carried out. It’s something we often put off, but it doesn’t need to be difficult or expensive. We’ve partnered with two services to help our supporters make a simple Will for free.
Many people like to leave a gift to charity in their Will to support a cause that has been important in their life. There is no obligation to leave a gift in your Will to Cancer Research Wales if you wish to make a free Will using the below services. However, after taking care of your loved ones, we hope you might consider leaving a legacy to help transform the future for tomorrow’s patients in Wales.

You can choose to make your Will:

Free Wills online
We’ve partnered with Octopus Legacy to offer you the opportunity to make your Will online for free, meaning you can make your Will at a time and pace that suits you. Octopus Legacy provides a simple online process to make writing your Will quick and easy. It only takes 15 minutes to complete your Will online, before it’s checked by a legal expert. They’ll then send it to you to print, along with instructions on how to sign it and have it witnessed, making it legally binding.
Octopus Legacy also offers telephone and face to face appointments for those that would rather speak to a solicitor. To find out more and to book an appointment simply call the team on 0800 773 4014 and quote CRWFREE.
National Free Wills Network
We have also teamed up with the National Free Wills Network, so that you can make or update a free simple Will through a local solicitor. Get in touch to let us know you’d like to use the National Free Wills Network. We will then refer you to the Network and they will send a pack directly to you which will contain a list of your local participating solicitors and a form. Contact your chosen solicitor to make an appointment, take along your completed form and get your simple Will written for free.
